Coverage FAQ

Common questions about our ticket protection insurance.

Can I add protection after I've already booked?
No — refund protection must be purchased at the time of booking. It cannot be added retrospectively.
What documentation do I need to make a claim?
It depends on the reason. For illness, a GP or hospital note. For transport disruption, confirmation from the provider. For bereavement, a death certificate or funeral director's letter. Our claims portal will guide you through exactly what's needed.
How long until I receive my refund?
Most claims are resolved within 5 working days. Approved refunds are paid to your original payment method within 2–3 business days of approval.
Is this the same as travel insurance?
No. Refund Cover is specifically designed for ticket and booking protection. It's simpler, faster, and more focused than general travel insurance. It covers your ticket cost directly, not broader travel expenses.
Does the protection cover the whole booking or just one ticket?
Protection covers all tickets in the booking that were protected at checkout. If you added protection, all tickets in that transaction are covered.
